Although he cannot remember the entirety of the Hive from last time, this strikes a sudden chord.

“I believe that there is indeed a sort of 《magic》 inside of each person`s heart and soul, a blossomed life or a withering story, a woman or man.”
“The more you implore me to answer about food, the hungrier I shall become.
Aside from that, I think it is a refreshing and healthy dessert.”
“It is…a flavorful garnish for certain dishes?”

- Ask the character/mun: Ask the muse whatever you want for them to answer IC; or ask the mun a personal question to get to know better or to get an OOC answer [although we would like to keep these at a minimum]!
- Truth/Dare: Be reasonable with the dares! If you start getting ridiculous no one will want to do them; characters aren’t really obligated to do all the dares they receive. Don’t forget about the truth part as well!
- Situation: Give the character another character or characters, a place and a reason in order to create some interesting thread ideas (if both parties are willing to do it that is)! For example: You could send an ask to Ventus saying: “Roxas, Sector oo6, clothes shopping”.
Headcanon: Anons send the character a word, or a name and you may write a small/long headcanon about said word!
- Drabbles: Give the muse a prompt and they may write a short drabble on it.
No matter what, Tettere was a prince charming through and through, wasn’t he? Jack enjoyed listening to those words of flattery for both the prince and the noble, the latter nodding in agreement. They would stick out a bit in a modern setting, wouldn’t they? Though for the noble he hardly felt that would matter. There were others that were like them, from more fairytale settings but, perhaps Jack felt like it hardly mattered so long as he was there with this royal.
It wouldn’t be exactly like the past but it was reminiscent of it.
The conversation between them now felt nostalgic and for a moment he truly wanted to believe that nothing was wrong and things were not as they seemed prior to here and now. Granted he was always aware of their circumstances, but for now, he would selfishly indulge in this. It was fine doing this, he thought — he was always selfish anyway, so doing this wasn’t far out of reach for him.
That’s the kind of person he was in the end.
❝I believe you’re correct, yes.❞
❝I only know of ballroom dancing myself as well, at least you and I aren’t alone together, wouldn’t you say?❞
Swaying slightly, the prince imagined a tune or two in his head. Humming along to the music, Tettere almost looked as though he were about to sing.
But the only lullabies on his lips were ones of sorrow, even though they sounded so happy. They had been whispered by angelic choruses of those long past to sing of their lamentations.
Stories that were fictional, but not entirely untrue.
The very reason he was alive…was because of those stories.
Turning with a sort of mystical smile, sapphire eyes witnessed an interesting smile.
“Since we are together now, we automatically are not alone.”
Tettere enjoyed bantering with Jack; he always kept the prince on his tip toes.
“While the light is warm, we should be light on our feet. Perhaps we should attempt to see if we can keep in step with one other.”
Reaching a graceful hand to touch Jack`s palm, he beckoned for him to approach.
“Shall we practice? I am a bit rusty, having been taken from my kingdom for such a prolonged and agonizing spell.”
“Unless you are loathe to dance with one so out of practice as I..”
He nearly whisked the noble off his feet, though he was much taller and bigger than Tettere. Despite his ailments, physical or otherwise, whether they could be healed or otherwise, the prince was not weak.
Especially in spirit, the one thing that allowed him to stay above this haze.
That surprise that Tettere reigned over Jack didn’t fade at all, had it?
His smile was natural and he nodded in accordance to the prince’s words. It was hardly what he had thought would happen when this pseudo ball was announced but oh, he was overjoyed that this was happening! It was as if things were all slowly coming together again, that they were coming together again.
He tried not to get too ahead of himself however, smiling still as he answered with words this time.
❝Then it’s a date.❞
❝And no, the one flattered is me certainly! Oh — yes actually, I tended to go to quite a few back where I’m from.❞
Jack trialed on for a bit about the kinds of dances they were, though they were typically formal and ballroom. He suspected that the one here would hardly be anything akin to what he was used to. At the very least he knew how to dance elegantly if nothing else.
He couldn’t help but ask the same of Tettere.
Did he remember dancing formally at balls and the like?
“The case is similar for myself as well. I can recall, in my world prior, there would be many enchanting galas to attend.”
The prince smiled fondly with the memory of his home. Even though the city was a wretched reminder that he had been taken away not once, but twice, he could remember fondly of what once was through nostalgia. And perhaps re-enact those scenes behind marble walls once more in this replicated city.
“Though what is called ‘dancing’ here is nothing of what I know. I suppose what I engaged in was called ‘formal’ or ‘ballroom dance.’”
He wears a smile and wears it proudly - of course that slightly proud air has never really worn away from the royal no matter the hardships.
“I believe we will be the ones clashing with this more modern taste, won`t we, Jack?”
He chuckled slightly, imagining these two who looked as though they stepped from a fairy tale book from years ago, appearing among steel branches of a more technology driven stage.
“I believe our more classic flair shall be the toast of the town.”
